Range of resources on 20mph

20 mph newsletter

The UK Network Management Board has produced an overview of reports and other documents on 20 mph speed limits. 

Published in addition to this is research, commissioned by the DfT in June 2014 to study the effects of 20mph limits, covering aspects including effects on speed, collisions, casualties and modal shift. The research also considers best practice, road users’ perceptions and effects on the quality of the environment.
