Comparison between SCRIM and Griptester

There is a need to ensure that skid resistance data from different measurement techniques are correlated for the full range of modern carriageway surface types, so that accurate and cost-effective decisions on the safety implications of surface condition are made.  This research will therefore lead to improvements in local authority use of skid resistance machinery.  Some unpublished research in this field has already been conducted.  It is intended that this project should peer review that work.
