Roads Performance Management Group
The Roads Performance Management Group (RPMG) is a subgroup of the UK Roads Board Its formal remit is to:
- provide a quality assurance check for the Department for Transport of the annual National Road Maintenance Condition Survey.
- advise the UK's national governments on appropriate measures of carriageway and footway condition.
The RPMG is chaired by Gordon Prangnell (London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham) and has the following members:

The Group has one working group, initially known as the Defects Index Working Group and currently known as the SCANNER Road Condition Indicator Working Group
